Located in the heart of Valencia, within the historical centre of the city, the Ayre Hotel Astoria Palace is ideal for both leisure and professional guests. Major refurbishments to all public areas provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, plus excellent public transport links with the Palacio de Congresos conference complex, the Fair area, the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias science and arts complex, and the new direct metro line to the airport. The Ayre Hotel Astoria Palace also has 12 function rooms with space for between 10 and 400 people, as well as a new Breakfast Hall located on the ninth floor where you can see stunning views of the city. We gave a new impetus to our a la carte restaurant on the 15th March 2009. It has a new name, AB Vinatea, inspired by the Latin expression that speaks of the evolution of the surroundings while retaining our roots: the quality and continuous improvement of our cuisine and service. We have created a new space for the best rice dishes in Valencia and for avant-garde Mediterranean cooking, with a new image based on the elegant modernity which characterises Ayre Hotels and the tradition of the Astoria Palace.

31 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We stayed at the Astoria Palace in Valencia which is apparently a 5 star hotel, we did get a very good deal of 55 euro for the room for the night. We really did expect more from a 5 star hotel. The room was only O.K. no view at all out the window or any balcony. We were not told about any of the facilities and so never went looking. Beds good and comfortable. Had mentioned in booking that we had just got engaged but no mention of this from the hotel. I would rate this as a good 3 star hotel and not close to any of the other 5 stars we have stayed in.
