This small, "grand" Hotel occupies a fabulous 15th century palazzo overlooking Venice's Grand Canal, adjacent to an ancient Gondola workshop. The hotel takes its name from the Renaissance frescos that once adorned its façade.
This historic setting provides the perfect venue from which to explore and to experience the true Venice and the perpetual dialogue between present and past; ancient and modern.
The Antiche Figure has been completely renovated. The hotel includes all of the "necessities" required by the modern traveller.
A sumptuous buffet breakfast is prepared daily in the comfortable Breakfast Room. The Garden Cafeteria, which overlooks the Grand Canal, is the perfect place to unwind whilst sipping Venice's most famous cocktails, a Bellini or a Spritz.
Our staff is completely devoted to the comfort of our guests. Our experience allows us to satisfy most any request with ease and with pleasure. As they say at Harrods: "You can ask for the smallest pin or the biggest elephant.", our staff will be there to assist you.

The Hotel Antiche Figure in Venice is a three-star, superior, completely restored hotel on the Homonymous Historical House. It is located in front of the train station Santa Lucia, just a few steps from Piazzale Roma, in an interesting position close to important artistic and historical attractions. The Hotel Antiche Figure has a romantic Grand Canal view. All the rooms, elegantly furnished with refined Venetian fabrics, have private bathrooms, hair-dryer, double direct dialling line, safe box, mini bar and air conditioning. The Hotel Antiche Figure, Venice, lies in the heart of this beautiful and historic city. Centuries ago, in an effort to flee barbarians, Venetians left dry-dock and drifted out to a flotilla of uninhabitable islands in the Lagoon. Survival was difficult enough, but no Venetian has ever settled for mere survival. The remote ancestors of the present inhabitants created the world's most beautiful city. To your children's children, however, Venice might be nothing more than a legend. The city is sinking at an alarming rate of about 2 1/2 inches per decade, and at the same time, the damp climate, mould, and pollution here are contributing to the city's decay. Estimates are that, if no action is taken soon, one-third of the city's art will deteriorate hopelessly within the next decade or so.

Good
We were pleasantly surprised by this cute and comfortable small hotel facing the Grand Canal. It was very conveniently located and the staff were friendly and personable. I'd recommend this hotel because of it's nice location and service.
The hotel staff was exceptional- helpful, courteous, pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was typical European but plentiful. Rooms were clean and spacious. This hotel was remodeled about 3 or 4 years ago. The inside is all modern fixtures but...
