Hotel Angeleno is a lovely little hotel that we frequent when business requires us to be in Los Angeles early in the morning. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the rooms are very comfortable and well appointed.

This hotel made me feel secure: We always enjoy sleeping in the luxurious beds at the Angeleno hotel. Their pillows are plump and firm and the linens and the comforter are of very nice quality.

my husband surprised me with one week trip to LA.he booked the trip through Expedia.com.everything in a hotel was great!the service, pleasant personnel, great breakfast! I was very surprised because we travel a lot and I have been staying in much more fancy places but Angeleno was just awesome! I will definitely recommend this hotel to everybody and we gonna stay there once again in a future!the Internet was for free!let me tell you something.I have been staying in a 900 $ per night hotel in Orlando and I had to pay 15$ per day for the Internet!it was like a joke for this price not to have free access to the Internet!

We love the Angeleno hotel and we stay there whenever I have an appointment nearby. The rooms are not large, but they are well appointed and very comfortable. The staff is always friendly and welcoming.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The staff at the desk is always warm and helpful. We visit the Angeleno hotel three to four times a year and they remember us when we arrive.

This hotel was in an excellent location, giving special rates for UCLA Med Center patients and offering free shuttle service.

This hotel made me feel pampered: The mattresses and the pillows were very comfortable. The blankets were down filled.

Upon checking into the Hotel Angeleno I was impressed with the pleasant front desk concierge. We were kept waiting for over 20 minutes because she couldn’t locate the reservation but she continually thanked us for our patience. Our room was clean; the linens were a nice thread count. The rooms are extremely small and laid out poorly. Barely bigger than a Motel 6 room. No closet, no hooks to hang your towels.

The soap/lotion/shampoo and conditioners were nice and smelled great. The view was nice from the 17th floor lounge, but $21.00 for two cocktails was a bit much. Nothing fancy, just well-brand bourbon and soda. Ouch!

One morning with our “Privacy Please” sign on our door with the deadbolt locked, a maid walked in at 10:30 announcing she was told she had to come in and clean!

We stayed there 3 nights and with the exception of the initial check-in, the staff acted like we were strangers. I’m surmising they save the pleasant façade for the new guests checking in. After that, they assume a “We’ve gotcha” attitude and couldn’t care less if you like it or lump it.

The swimming pool is about the size of a backyard pool.

The location is awful, the “shuttle” is on their whim, and overall the hotel emits a feeling of a shabby hotel with a recent facelift trying to be a 4 or 5 star hotel. Not even close. I’d rate it a 2 star at most.

I must tell you that the bellman was extremely helpful, and the driver who took us on our one and only complimentary shuttle ride was very entertaining. If you like lovely comforters and nice sheets, this is the place for you. The nice linens, toiletries, bellmen valet attendants and drivers are the only things they’ve got in their favor. Save your money and stay in a Motel 6 or spend a little more and stay in a true “luxury” hotel.
