The Statehouse Inn recently changed ownership and it just isn't the same. The rates change daily; policies are anal-retentive and unfriendly. Their long-time staff has been run away. The customer service is terrible. They would have to pay me to stay there again.
We got a suite with a whirlpool tub. Fantastic room, housekeeping kept it neat as a pin, and our stay was peaceful and relaxing. I haven't been in the standard rooms, but the suites are well worth the money.
We can't wait to go back!!

We loved our stay at the Statehouse Inn in Boise. It compared to the more exclusive like the Wyndham or Plaza in cleanliness, service, and quality of food and linens. We loved room service which arrived quickly and served more food than we could...

Good deal for the money, when you take in the wonderful breakfast voucher in their beautiful restaurant. Walking distance from shopping, restaurants and nightlife.
