27 year old woman with a economy budget, traveling for leisure
They had one very small elevator. I liked the great view of the Empire State Building from the seventh or higher up floors. The air conditioner and heater was a little touchy and they had very nice communal bathrooms, two per floor.
This hotel made me feel practical: I was saving a whole lot of money, since it had more of a hostel environment.

to return to the Hotel 31.

27 year old woman with a economy budget, traveling for leisure
I loved it here. The staff was great and it was very cheap. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful. We had a perfect view of the Empire State Building from our hotel room window, and it was walking distance from great sites and subway lines. I would definitely stay here again, as a matter of fact I will be booking a room there for an upcoming trip in August.
This hotel made me feel comfortable: The staff was very helpful. Check in and check out was accurate and easy. The rooms and bathrooms were very nice.
