The Horseshoe hotel and casino is our home away from home when we go to the Shreveport and Bossier City area. We stay there every chance we get.

It is a nice hotel. But they do not have the same good complimentary items as before, when it was owned by someone else.

The Horseshoe hotel is a luxury hotel. Everything is first class. We love to stay there.
This hotel made me feel respected: A hostess helped me out with a request.

The hotel had comfortable beds, great service, wonderful view and excellent security.
This hotel made me feel secure: The security guards are posted at the entrance to the elevator area to check the ID of everyone entering.

The hotel had excellent service and it was very comfortable. There was also the possibility of live music performances for free.

Poor room service and internet access

Upon checking in, the bellmen stood inside the warm hotel, while I tried to unload my luggage in the freezing cold.
The room service food was not fit for a dog, except for the salad. My fillet was not a fillet cut of meat, barely warm, and barely edible. I think they must have accidentally given me hockey pucks instead of rolls. The breakfast was not any better, the coffee was terrible, and my food was slightly warm. Oh, did I mention that it took three hours to get on the internet, because the wireless signal was so weak?
They still tried to charge me twice for internet service and for the phone calls to the IT service so I could get connected. When I called to ask them to remove the internet charge, they told me that although it took me three hours, I still got service and I could have used dial up instead! I won't be staying at this hotel again, much less gambling!

I stayed at the Horseshoe Hotel in Bossier City. The rooms are large, nicely appointed and comfortable. The restaurants in the hotel are very good and so is the casino.

I liked the spaciousness of the room. It included a large bathroom, with private area for the toilet and a TV. The staff was especially friendly and everyone was eager to help. The buffet was delicious and all of the restaurants had excellent food. We stayed at the Horseshoe Casino and Hotel in Shreveport, Los Angeles. The casino is very cool, so be sure to take a light jacket or sweater. We enjoyed the trip so much, that we plan to go back soon.
This hotel made me feel content: We felt at home. Everyone said hello and we felt free to do anything that we wished.
