We came to Tahoe for America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride . The ride started and stopped at the Horizon. We were disappointed from the moment we got there. The front desk person seemed underwhelmed by her job , we didn't get the room we were promised...

Good
Most of our stay was outstanding. The only exception was the room was noisy in the evening. We were on the ninth floor and still had to keep the window closed to eliminate the noise. Also could hear the elevators most of the night. Overall, we...

Okay
Horizon could be a good hotel to stay if wasn't for the room noises. I wake up in the middle the night couple times because your are able to hear the people of the other room. Also I was surprise when I checked out and I have extra charges of $15.00 ...
Not a bad spot for buget minded travelers. The hotel itself could use some updating, the decor is pretty old, but we only paid forty bucks a night. The rooms were large in comparison to other places I've stayed. We needed a roll away bed, and even...

My personal experience was OK. Had a wonderful time. The food at Josh's was excellent, service barely existed. Not like before when we ate there. The only thing that was unsatisfactory was the cocktail "runners". I don't know how they move so fast. By the time you knew they were there, they were gone and didn't come back forever
Dealing with the personnel was geat, everyone very friendly.

Okay
The Horizon is definitely in need of some changes. My wife and I booked this trip last minute and were therefore not expecting anything spectacular. The Horizon met our low expectations, but barely.
The staff all seemed enthusiastic and helpful,...

Okay
The beds were the worst part of the trip. I guess they are okay if you prefer sleeping on something as hard as the floor. The ammenities were good for the money and the location is great. I had a room with a balconey and it had a wonderful view...

The only positives about this hotel is that it has a great view and is very convenient. There is no air cond. during the winter, they are under staffed at the front desk, their concierge wasn't too knowledgeable and messed up one of our reservations and if you stay in any room near the elevator you will think a fighter jet is landing in your room everytime the elevator runs. Def. overpriced! Would not stay there again or reccommend it to anyone.
We couldn't wait to get out of there

WOW! All I can say what a horrible place. This casino/hotel has only one tempature - hot or cold for the entire place. If you like listening in on conversations from adjorning rooms or not getting any sleep because of the noise - then you'll love...

Okay
After reading the horrible reviews on this place, I was pretty reluctant to stay there. The staff was friendly and helpful, our room was clean, and it was in a good location. I do have to agree that the temperature in the room was too warm, and...
