Get another hotel if you can.. This Hooter hotel is dirty, Beds are over-used, un-sanitized, rooms are smelly, elevators don't work most of the time, I paid $100 a night that supposedly in the tower...they book me to this room 202 that has the ceiling and wall joints cracked open you can hear the room next door like without walls. 3 days stay I got Bed Bug Bites all over my neck, arms and back. Managers/employee are rude. And by the way, READ THOSE FINE PRINTS THEY ASK YOU TO SIGN.

I arrived at Hooters at 9am with reservation. I had to wait until 4pm to check in. When I finally went to my room in the Bay View section, I noticed the hallway was rather dark and the ugly colored carpet was horribly stained.
My room was actually very pleasant. Bright, with the reknowned orange Hooter color design. My room was very clean, the entire floor was quiet, the bed was extremely comfortable and a convenient in-room safe was available at no charge. The cable TV offered many channels which was great since the Olympics was ending and the Democratic National Convention was starting.
Hooters' restaurant is right there serving the best chicken wings!
If you drink cocktails, I highly recommend the spicy Bloody Mary while you are playing. The cocktail servers are very nice.
The S.A.S.S. Spa was nice. The masseuse (sp) were Danielle and Lora. Both had different techniques, but Lora was rather rough with the shoulder massage. I would recommend Danielle.
There are very few outlets in the room, so you may want to bring your own power strip for any radios or charges for cellphones.
There are not too many slot machines in this hotel casino, but Hooters is walking distance from MGM Grand, New York New York, Tropicana and Excaliber.
I stayed there for 3 days and played in their casino for 3 days, but they did NOT give me the Hooter Owl doll as advertised. Make sure you inquire about this.
There was NOT a TV checkout, so plan for time to check out at the front desk.
Hooters is near McCarran airport, so I would advise visitors to cab it to and fro the airport.
I am very likely
to return to the Hooters Casino Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

my daughter and i stayed in the bungalows from june 17th to the 24th we loved the fact that the room was so close to the pool. i could open the patio doo and walk a short distance and we were in the pool. my daughter loves to swim.I wasn't happy with the ice machine . i had one on the floor that we were on when we arrived it was gone the next day and i was told to go to the
2nd floor which i didn't mind at first until that one was empty most of the time. i got ice from a nearby restaurant for drinks that i had.
the only other problem that i had was checking out was the cashier was rude and was trying to charge me for a movie that i never watched
but had trouble removing the charge from my bill.she asked her supervisor who had a bad attitude and wouldn't help her delete the charge, i will be checking my charge bill when i receive it and if it is on the bill i will call the headquarters and report her and karen the supervisor., who couldn't look me in the eye and they couldn't print me a receipt . the said it was ok , but i have all of their names.
I didn't stay here but I think I will next time, despite the bad reviews. I played for a few hours and had a great time! I started with $20 and cashed out with $59, mostly playing penny Megabucks. Ice cold 16 oz Michelobs were served to me til I ...

This was my second stay at Hooters. For reference, I have also stayed at Treasure Island, The Plaza, and Fitzgeralds. My stay occurred from July 6 - 9, 2008.
The hotel is located next to the Tropicana and across the the street from the MGM. A quick look at any map will show that it is a stones throw from the Strip. In 10 minutes you can be on the Strip or on the Monorail.
The rate for my stay was $40 a night, Sun-Tues. I had daily housekeeping without having to request it. The room, while a little worn around the edges, was clean with 2 full sized beds. Included in the room is an ironing board and iron and room safe, free of charge. The bathroom is spacious and the hotel engages in water conservation practices.
I would recommend Hooters without hesitation, making clear that it is an inexpensive option for those who like to go out and about. It is not a romantic getaway, business hotel, or resort destination. It is a clean place to sleep at night in comfortable beds and keep your luggage while seeing the wonders of Las Vegas. I have never had a problem with noise from other rooms.
The tables usually have lower limits than their strip counterparts and often have Hooters girls dealing.
The pool is pleasant and easily accessible - a great place to get some sun. They played great tunes the times Ive been there.
Hooters restaurant is what it is - decent food at decent prices. A good place to get a quick bite before going out.
I have been most pleased with the customer service. The employees, from the check in counter, to the valets (who opened doors like doormen when not doing their valet duties), to the housekeeping staff to the cocktail waitresses have given me great service.
For example:
The last time I stayed there, I forgot my watch. The staff was able to locate the watch and mail it to my home address.
In making reservations this time, they were able to reference information from my previous stay and complete the reservation in a matter of minutes. While I realize this is not unusual, the way in which it was handled kinda made me feel like a big shot.
Both times I was able to check in early: 9:00 am the first time and noon the second time.

This is not a place that I would recommend. I was very dissapointed upon arrival to learn that they hade given my room away and had to place me in a double. The rooms are sparse, they have a work desk but high stools which make it almost impossible to use. Houskeeping is by request, and the rooms are not that clean (bring lysol). There are no amenities to speak of I had to spend $2.00+ a day just to get my morning coffee, 13+ dollars a day for internet access... etc... You get the idea. This hotel is off the strip (about 2 blocks)on Tropicana Avenue, no easy way to get here from the shuttles or the Deuce.
The restaruants in the hotel include Hooters, The Dixie Chixs and Dan Marano's, None of which are priced for the budget minded. If you really want some good choices you need to travel up to the strip and make your way uptown.
Overall this hotel was one of the worst that I stayed at during my frequent visits and I would not recommend it to anyone.
