The rooms were spacious and the food was good; however, we were there for baseball and were told NOT to book the Saturday night stay because there were NO refunds, but instead let them know a day or so advance and they'd book the room for us. We di

Horrible
I have stayed at this very hotel 3 times in the past three years. Their staff is friendly and responsive and their rooms are great for a family travelling. This past week we stayed at the hotel again. When we got to our room their was a note on...

Good
You get quite a bang for you buck - the suites are very spacious with a full kitchen. The hotel is spread out like apartment buildings, so it's much quiter than a regular hotel. A hot breakfast (breakfast burritos, potatoes, sausage, etc.) is...
The building plain, the area nondescript - however, after arriving at ten in the evening with a huge Ryder truck, we were hungry! The desk clerk directed us to a restaurant where we could find an Omaha steak at that hour. It was delicious, and we were thrilled to have someone so knowledgeable working at that late hour. (As often as not, one finds that evening desk clerks are there for the paycheck, and frequently not interested in the property, the area or the guests).
Unfortunately for us, it was spring (mid April), and although warm, the pool and jacuzzi were not yet open for the season. That would have been just the ticket after loading up a truck and a long day's drive.
I certainly would return if I ever had occasion to be in Omaha again.

Excellent
This is a great property. Rooms are excellent. I have stayed here for business and pleasure travel. Staff is very helpful. This is my first choice in Omaha.
35 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I stayed a week here while visiting a relative at Clarkson Hospital.
I was originally going to stay at the Marriott Residence Inn (Platinum Elite with Marriott), but their rate was $159. Since I wasn't on business, that was kind of steep for my expectations in Omaha.
I found the Homewood using my car's navigational system, and they were $89. As a Platinum Elite, I stay in a hotel over 150 nights per year. This Homewood does its job very well. The building is old, the parking area is way too cramped, but those are things they can't help.
They put out good food, they clean your room well, they are very friendly, and they are fairly priced.

The rooms were older and dark, but spacious. The pool was outdoor, which was fine in the heat of the summer but would cause problems in the winter. The fitness center needed cleaning and air conditioning. Check in and check out were quick and easy.
I am very likely
to return to the Homewood Suites Omaha.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The location is a bit inconvenient for my use. The hotel covers a large property, so you can expect to walk some distance to the lobby. The parking is adequate, but it is difficult to get luggage from your vehicle to your room. The breakfast is very good, and an evening reception was a welcome addition.
I was welcomed upon my arrival by a very friendly agent. Being a Hilton Honors member, I was provided with two bottles of water, and a snack.
I am very likely
to return to the Homewood Suites Omaha.
I might recommend it to friends.
