I booked our stay through the web after reading a few reviews of other hotels in the area and balanced that with the cost per night. While the reviews were not good at all, for the price I got through the NetDirect rate on Homewood's website, I was willing to take a chance. I am SO GLAD I did. The hotel is amazing. There were 4 of us, so my wife and I took the King bed, and the other couple slept on the sleeper sofa, which they said was the most comfortable they had ever slept on. The entire property has been remodeled, which isn't even reflected on the their website. the enitre property is Very very clean, the front desk staff is extremely attentive to guest needs, especially the night folks. Breakfast is plentiful, make your own waffles, eggs, bacon, the whole nine yards. The kitchen in our suite was very nice, the bedding was extremely clean, the bathroom was spotless, and the maid service was very good each day. The room was perfectly comfortable, and ....-scentless- which is how I like a hotel room, too much air freshener just tells me that the room was very dirty and smelly at some point. Overall - the stay was GREAT, good shopping and other leisure activites nearby made the location even better! Definitely worth the price paid!
