During a recent business trip I decided to stay at Homewood Suites in Gainesville Florida. My stay was for a minimum of a week so I wanted to stay where there were lots of things to do and places to eat. The location is great and it’s located just of the interstate with tons of places to shop, and a million places to eat.
The King sized bed in the suite was awesome. You can leave a list of items or a grocery list with the front desk and they will shop for you and add the cost of the items to your bill! There is no charge for this service.
This Homewood Suites was very clean. Although the staff would tidy up the room daily I had to request the sheets to be changed and never got an explanation as to why. The business center and work out facility were above average. On weeknights they cook a 2 or 3 course meal and every morning they have a above average breakfast available. They also offer free wine and beer from 5-7 pm.
