Horrible
Not only is a main highway across the street but also the train station. Front desk staff are very rude as well. Oh and lets not forget the car that got broken into and your in the heart of an industrial area that is not very good.

We had a waterfront room with a balcony. Rooms were very large with full size refridgerator, stovetop, pots/pans and a dishwasher! Very quiet. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast (every day) and dinner (Monday thru Thursday) were included in the price of the room. Close to San Francisco, wine country. Great place to stay if you are going up for a few days. Only problem was no restaurants or entertainment nearby. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel.

I loved the fact that since I had a roommate that there were separate rooms and bathrooms. I also liked the fact that the beds were so comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other people.
It didn't feel like a typical hotel room. It felt like renting a condo or staying in someone else's guesthouse. It was to have a full kitchen that was stocked with plates and cups and pans.

We spent one night at the Homewood Oakland and were amazed by everything. We were greeted by an extremely friendly staff (especially their drivers - one whom provided a short tour of the Jack London Square Area). The breakfast was good and the...

The staff greeted us with a smile and it was not a put on smile. During the buffet, the server made sure everything requiring heat was warm, and offered assistance if needed. It felt almost like family. I was impressed.
