This location had an excellent staff that went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. The evening buffet was a pleasant surprise in both variety, flavor and service. I would highly recommend this location for the internet connection speed, the food provided, the location and especially the friendliness of the staff.
The staff anticipated almost all my needs and met them very efficiently and with a friendly demeanor. The needs that they were unable to anticipate or were special requests were handled with amazing speed and in a friendly way even though some were obvious inconveniences to the employees' normal routine, such as driving me to class when I missed the bus.
I am very likely
to return to the Homewood Suites Hartford/Windsor Locks.

They were doing reconstruction while we were staying there which meant very early hammer pounding. Then one night they decided to paint or something that involved fumes and our room was unusable. The girl at the front desk was not at all accommodating, instead saying she could call another hotel to have us moved there because they had no rooms, then she magically found two rooms but the nicer room that would have been an upgrade was a place where for some reason we could not stay in, but instead she wanted us to downgrade. Then when we complained enough we were allowed to stay in the room for a less expensive price. We were given the run around and then we were treated like this was our fault. This all happened at eleven o'clock in the evening, the worst time to have to move all of your belongings. We were very unhappy!
I am not likely
to return to the Homewood Suites Hartford/Windsor Locks.
I would not recommend it to friends.

My husband and I were in CT for a week attending a business conference at BDL. From the moment we checked in at midnight to the time we checked out everything was exemplary. The suite is a true 2-room suite, with a door between bedroom/living room....

The rooms are large and I appreciated the amenities that included a small kitchen, and an iron and ironing board. I also liked the free shuttle to the airport.
