I was in an extended stay hotel in Edenvale for 3 month the last year,and now in homestead suites in sunnyvale for also 3 month .
this hotel was chosen from the company i m working with for a summer intern .
The furniture here is good in quality "a king bedroom,and the couch is a wide love seat which is also good.
The kitchen is very small and ,but contain good ammonites.
the worst thing there is the management,although when u ask for her she try her most to help u and solve your problem ,but she has no general control of ppl under her.for example:
1- when we came at first we had a room at mid night and we found out that we have a colonies of flies flying in front of our door,and they can enter the room when u open the door
also the room smells ,and the walls has dirt and disgusting stains in it.
we had to change to room b/c of the flies mainly .and they helped us to look around for another room we like
but all the rooms has flies at it's doorway !!!
we kept asking them to solve it ,and they keep saying ok we r working on it ,but the flies was increasing ,until i talked to the human resorses in my comany and she talked with the maneger ,then they instaled a thing to kill flies nest to our room "above the trash basket ",so we r th eonlt room who never have flies now ,and other have :)
2- i called the frond desk asking for keep service ,and simply the front disk lady ,put me on hold 4 10 minutes .and never call back
3- when i called her agin ,she told me ok i'll check and will call u back ,and never did !!!
4- our stove top has one eye of tow burned out suddenly ,and we waited a month for the maintenance guy to came a just simply change the burner in 1 minute
5- one lamps burned and need only a new bulb ,and also took 1 month to have a new one
6- the key need to be coded every several weeks ,and they never told us at the front disk even though they know we had a contract 4 three months,and one day at 11 pm when we came home we simply couldn't open the door ,i had to leave my wife and child outdoor that late until fix that
7- they keep asking u when u want to take the mail, restoring your keys about your ID,but it's enough for them just to c the id without checking about that name in their database
8-- the house keepers mostly r rude ,don't clean well ,doesn't understand English alt all .one time i told the lady to clean a part of the kitchen she didn't clean at all ,and she just got angry and acted very rudely
9- the internet service is very bad mostly at weekends and during the night until 2am ,and we had near a week of no internet service as their system was broken ,but they kept lying to us and saying that just we need to check our pc.
10- this place is much better than other extended stay in furniture and architecture of the rooms ,but the manager and stuff r worst ,and simply will not do what u want
11-no shampoo just hand and body soup ,and sometimes the room service lady just go away without giving you new one after cleaning the room even though she can c u don't have soup
12-we found out that they can give free tooth paste ,but only for the ppl they like when they register!!!!
13-parking lots are available but you have to come early to get a place near your room ptherwise you have to park very far from your room
14-laundry room have 6 washing machines and 6 dryers ,which is enough but at weekends you may need to wait for unoccupied one
I only stayed here as the company is paying for my stay ,and i have no time to look for a another place and loose the money they payed for this place
the location is near a play land park which is mall park but u can spend some time playing with your kids or having a moderate walk,
no near by malls "you have to have a car "or grocery stores.but it's a safe area full of different companies ,so no bad neighborhood
