The hotel was a cheap hotel meant for a place to stay. As that it was only ok. My main complaint was the room was stained. It looked like there was spattered blood on the curtain which made me feel unsafe.
I am very likely
to return to the Homestead DTC-North.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

If you like hairy, stained towels and sheets, then this place is for you! If you like filthy floors, walls and windows, then book now! DISGUSTING!!! The location of this hotel is its only good feature. It is right next to a light-rail station.

We stayed for several nights. It was nice the staff was kind and helpful. They have wireless internet, but you have to pay for it, $5.00 a day. They brought us kitchen supplies that were not in the kitchen. Overall, it was a nice stay. We only paid $30-35 a night.

The hotel staff had marginal customer service. The hotel was dirty and rooms were in need of repairs since everytime the bathroom sink was used the kitchenette sink backed up, and the air/heater didn't work. The elevator was out of order and I found live cockroaches in the bathroom and crawling on the hotel walls. The website for the hotel looks great, however upon arrival I could instantly tell that what I saw was not what the pictures showed.

I had many problems with my rooms. The first room reeked of cat litter box from the employee that lived in the room below mine. When informed the front desk of the problem, the employee refused to allow me to change rooms. I had to call two managers
