This hotel does not even deserve a one rating if o made sense that is what I would rate the home suite homes hotel. First of all I am guessing it is an infestation of roaches that they have because everyone has complained of the same thing. Seconds after walking in I noticed roaches. I am TERRIFIED of roaches but I thought ok this isint exactly your five star hotel, Ill kill the two roaches or so and get on with it. No it was disgusting a whole bunch of roaches everywhere especially coming out of the headboard. On the walls on the ceiling in the bathroom in the kitchen even on the bed! It was disgusting! The place is a dump inside and out. I wouldent usually post something like this because people are trying to work hard to keep their businesses but this place has a roach infestation and it needs to be taken care of immediatly. I was staying there with my 10 month old son and Iset up his play pen and I had to take him out because within minutes there was like 7 roaches crawling into it. This place is just gross they have a problem and its almost incredible how it is still open to the public. On top of that in 2005-2006 there were 6 registered sex offenders living there and in the area just imagine now. I would not EVER recommend this place to anyone and I am Not going back!

I work in Orlando and commute back and forth from Lake County. I thought I could save money and time to stay in Orlando during the week and go home on weekends. So, I contacted Home Suite Home. After working Sunday night (3/2/08) I arrived at hotel at 9am when office opened. They had my room ready. I found roach eggs and a few live german roaches in kitchen area. Then I found live roaches crawling out from behind headboard on wall. I went to store and bought a roach bomb to set off. I left for over an hour and returned to find hundreds of dying roaches crawling on all walls and even the ceiling. It was so disgusting. The maintenance man and maid came to witness this. They were both disgusted. The maid ran out of room in disgust. They helped me move my stuff out of the room. The office offered me another room which I declined. I just wanted to go home.

They had the nerve to credit my card for price of room minus $25.00 because they said they had saved me the room since Sunday.

I feel I have to write this review because of the $25.00 charge that they charged me to experience this horrible situation and to save anyone from this nightmare.

The price was good, and the location was very convenient for me. The price was important because I stayed for six weeks. The room itself had lots of roaches when I arrived, and the bed was a queen size mattress on a full size box spring.

The location was okay. But there were things in the ad that did not exist: for example, a restaurant and game room. The hotel is okay for the value, though, and for extended stays.

The hot tub was drained and not functional. The pool was not heated and cold. This was not mentioned to us before we checked in, and it was one of the reasons we went. Therefore, we stayed overnight in a no-frills motel for absolutely no reason and were bored.
