NoneArea was not good, misleading travel time to Universal Studios - actually a 15-20 min taxi ride! Very bad experience! The toilet over flowed on arrival and the bath towels were used to mop up by the staff, not very apologetic either! Didn't feel ...

Generally quite clean, quietOut-dated, cheap decor and fixtures. The Metropolitan Hotel is pretty standard for the run-down, seedy neighborhood it is located in. I had never been to Hollywood prior to this visit, so I didn't know what I was in for....

Okay
This hotel had a nice lobby but the rooms needed some attention. Just little things like no lamp for reading on one side of the bed. Lighting in the room was poor also. It was not in the best area.
