The Spa at the Marriott was WONDERFUL!! We stayed for our anniversary and the staff and treatments were amazing. Its small and it doesnt have a steam room or sauna, but it really felt like home.

We had a twelve hour drive with a one year old child. We called ahead to find out the check in time since we were driving all night. We called two different times and we got two different check in times. When we arrived the check in time had changed again. We had to wait three hours with a one year old in the hot parking lot for our room to be available. When leaving we asked for directions to a nearby road and they could not tell us how to get there. The stay was great, but the arrival and the departure spoiled the trip to this hotel.

It is a fantastic location, just steps from a gorgeous beach. The valet parking is twelve dollars a day, added to the room bill. The room service has delicious and hot food and the service is quick. The beds and the linens are superior to any hotel I have ever stayed at. They have good insulation in the walls.
The room was so finely appointed that it was hard to believe it was really mine. The bedding was beautiful, the bed was a pleasure. The bathroom was clean and the towels were not stiff or scratchy. Wonderful shampoos were provided. I never dressed like an important or rich person and the staff still treated me with deference. The service at this Marriott hotel was amazing. It obviously hires and trains the best.

Very nice hotel, but location was not. It was on beach, if that is all you want. Food/service was good. Drinks were very expensive at bar. Bed/pillows were very nice/plush. It is a quiet hotel, so that was nice too.
This marriott has been totally re-done inside and it's very nice. Outside is very old and not attractive at all. Our room was upgraded and large, but the TV was not near the sitting area, instead it was close to the bed, whcih I did not care for....

The Marriott chain is more than we can afford, but we require excellent service and accommodations, so we save more and stay at the Marriott hotels. The location of Hollywood Beach Marriott hotel could not have been better, directly on the beach. The beach was kept clean. The valet parking is highly recommended, it reduces stress and it is only two dollars more than self parking. Do not miss this hotel.
The staff is the best in customer service of anywhere I have ever stayed. All the staff members made eye contact and made absolutely no personal chit chat. This is how I expect to receive respect. It is very important. Their attention was not overwhelming and not irritating. All the staff members were very courteous and pleasant.
