In 1997, the Hulbert's purchased this old house in Bar Harbor, and committed themselves to the hands on restoration and creation of the Inn. The 1895 Holland House is a traditional New England farmhouse B&B, non Victorian, offering nine restored rooms with private baths, A/C, cable tv, WIFI and modern amenities. Located on a quiet side street amidst other B&B's, the inn is a short stroll from the pier and center of town, and only minutes to Acadia National Park. The inn offers an informal atmosphere where warm hospitality and local insight are made to order. Enjoy a full gourmet breakfast on the sun porch. Special diets are welcome. Open May-Oct. We loved our stay at the Holland Inn. Evin was extremely helpful with regards to activities in Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. Her breakfast creations were the best we've had in years of B&B stays and the house is so comfortable.
