The bartender was fabulous.

When guests in a neighboring room woke us and seemed to be trashing their room starting at about 11:20 pm, we called the front desk after midnight. They were not helpful, saying that no one was in the room on either side of us and saying that unless we could pinpoint the source of the noise, they couldn't help. We suggested that they send someone to our floor to investigate for themselves. After another call from us, they said that they had determined that the noise was actually coming from the room above us and they would speak to the people. It took three more calls from us and a threat to call the police ourselves before the noise subsided about 2:30 am. When we were offered a nice breakfast because of our inconvenience, we decided it must have been an isolated incident. Then the following night, we were awakened by shouts of 4 letter words from two other rooms at opposite ends of our floor. Boisterous shouts of horseplay in the hall followed through our follow-up calls in the next hour. We had paid more than a $30 nightly premium over another hotel chain in the area to get the quality sleep that we had grown to expect from stays at other Holiday Inns, only to find that we had been betrayed.

This hotel made me feel entertained: Good television and entertaining restaurant.

The only problem we had at the Holiday Inn was the air conditioning kept freezing up and the maintenance man couldn't seem to fix it after trying 2 times.

There were some ants in the bathroom and one of the ice machines was broken.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: Other hotels had very uncomfortable beds which made my back hurt - the Holiday Inn bed was much more comfortable and helped my back feel better.
