Holiday Inn Washington Chevy Chase Hotel

This is a complaint, the details of which follows. This hotel is showing a lot of wear and tear. The first room we were given smelled so bad from stale cigarette smoke that we had to be moved. One of the beds in the second room was totally broken and when we brought this to the attention of the staff they seemed very unconcerned. The shower controls were extremely loose and there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom One of our family, in another room, observed the cleaning staff washing out the glasses in the sink not using soap, and replacing them. Doesn't sound sanitary to me! We had a family reunion of approximately 30 people staying at this hotel and everyone had similar complaints. None of us will ever return.

This facility held a conference, but it did not have a business center to make copies or print information off the internet.

It's a great location with easy access to the metro. The staff at the desk did not leave messages as requested for other members of our party.

The hotel is very close to the Metro station. There's good shopping on the same street. There's free parking in the hotel garage.
