28 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for business
The hotel had a good location and an excellent staff. While I was there, we had a minor electrical fire on the floor where I was staying. They offered complimentary meals and drinks until all was taken care of and they proceeded to get my luggage out of my old room for me, when I could not go back in due to migraine issues. It seems like a family there. There are many business travelers and they are well known by the staff. By my second night, they knew me and they made sure I was ok, always asking if anything could be done to make my stay easier and they were excellent.
There was extra security in the lobby. You needed a card key after hours to use the elevator and only one door was open after hours.
I am very likely
to return to the Holiday Inn Washington-Central/White House.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The hotel staff was most efficient and took good care of me. I arrived early and they stored my luggage until I was able to check in. This was most helpful to me.

I was not impressed with the services for the price. Specifically they did not have free internet access for business travelers without laptops. The room did not come with a free breakfast and the twelve dollars cold breakfast was disappointing. There were other issues with the hotel but the manager was out of town so I did not pursue. The manager did contact me upon his return and gave me monetary satisfaction. That was impressive.
