The staff was great, friendly, efficient and helpful. They went above and beyond in a few circumstances. This was a family reunion for the Christmas holiday and the location was perfect for our needs.

The Holiday Inn hotel in Towson is an older building, conveniently located north of the city of Baltimore. Being that it is an older building it was undergoing some renovations when I stayed there which may or may not have contributed to my room's lack of hot water in the morning. Upon check in I found that my room's smoke detector was chirping from a low battery. This was quickly remedied. Unfortunately, the lack of hot water could not be remedied until check out. But that was really the only negative. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful and apologetic about the problems, the price was right for a full service hotel, the room was comfortable and quiet. I would stay there again.

The bed was so uncomfortable -- sleeping on the ground would have been better. The maid service could have been better. The shower flooded.
