Holiday Inn Syracuse Hotel - Page 1

I am a very frequent guest at Holiday Inn properties all over North America (PriorityClub Platinum).

The quality of this property has steadily declined over the last twenty years.

On my last stay in September 07 the room was shabby at best, including visible mold growing inside the air conditioner vent! To add insult to injury the hotel placed an unauthorized charge on my credit card three days after I checked out. When I called them on it they claimed that it was due to damage to the room. Obviously this was retribution for my complaints about the room condition to Priority Club and to the desk clerk.

I finally received a credit to my account with a hand written note stating "If you come to Syracuse I would strongly recommend you stay somewhere else" They need not worry. I will never stay at this hotel again and will tell all my associates to do the same.

I would give it less than one star but cannot go any lower.

I enjoyed the nice atmosphere and the room was larger than expected. The staff was polite and knew information about the area.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The room was relaxing.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at three Holiday Inn's while traveling throughout New York visiting colleges/universities. All were fine.

It was a very nice hotel and the people were very respectful to us.
