Good
Great swimming pools and view, back in its day it would have been a fancy hotelnot a swimming beach, full of seaweed and murky water“This hotel doesn't look like much when you approach, in back of the hotel are two nice pools, and a beautiful garden ...
We lived in St. Petersburg but were relocating to another city. Our realtor helped us get a room at this hotel during the transition. After all of the stress of moving and closing on our house we welcomed the relaxing atmosphere and friendly folks we met there. We had dinner from room service and our realtor sent champagne and strawberries from the restaurant. There was an employee that did activities with my daughter that she enjoyed very much. We relaxed in the pool and enjoyed the bar in the evening. I may just go back for the relaxation factor.

Our rental car was stolen from the parking lot. Someone got into our room and
nothing was done about it, not even a "I am sorry". They have a very rude manager. I will never return. This place is a rip off, its dirty, bring extra money.

This was the third time I stayed at this hotel, and the past two visits were fine. This time we checked in, and discovered the clock radio did not work. Well, it worked, but the circuit apparently did not, so nothing on that circuit worked. First thing in the morning I told the staff that it was not working, and was assured that they would have it fixed ASAP. By 6 pm it was still not fixed. So I went back to the desk and was told, while it was on the list, no one had told maintenance. By 8 pm they finally fixed it. The room itself was OK, nothing special, but we did not spend much time in it. The 3rd night, I flushed the toilet and it backed up all over the floor, flooding the bathroom. I went to the desk and told them the situation and the girl at the desk casually handed me a plunger to fix it! No offer to have the floors mopped, no one to fix the toilet, they just handed me a plunger, and apologized that they did not have a bell man on duty to bring it to the room for me! So I mopped the bathroom floor with the towels, plunged the toilet, and when I got back wrote to the manager who wrote back apologizing, asking me to give him a phone number to call me at. So I left my phone number, and of course never heard another word!

The hotel was excellent and the room that we had overlooked the water. The weather was hot and glorious and it was a pleasure to stay there, a week was not long enough. We will be back.
