The hotel was totally delightful and I recommend it to anyone.

We found the rates for off season very reasonable. We liked the wonderful view of ocean, especially at sunrise. We had a jacuzzi room and it was very clean, the entire room was very neat. The room was large and in the quiet portion of the hotel.

This hotel made me feel elegant: It seemed to be a nicer, newer and more upscale hotel than the ones nearby. It was close to the beach and made us feel like we could afford to stay right on the beach.

If you are going to stay at the beach and you can afford the high price, there is not a better hotel.

I liked the room, the pools, the bars and the service. I would recommend this hotel to others.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The beach is so close to the hotel. You can charge menu items to your hotel account. The kids have supervised activities so my husband and I can have some alone time.

The views were great from both the ocean and bay sides of the hotel. The hotel staff was the friendliest I have ever encountered, even on the phone while making the reservation. The staff was also very helpful while we were setting up for our conference. The airport shuttle was quick and easy. The only bad thing at all was that several of my coworkers and I all had stiff necks in the morning from the bed being a little too firm.

The room was situated so that there was a good view of the water, even though it was not on the ocean side. The restaurant breakfast buffet was excellent and the wait staff and breakfast chef were wonderful. We even saw dolphins swimming by while we ate one morning!

The Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort was nice and quiet.

One of the best places to stay with kids on the beach. We used to stay at Shell Island when they were the DEAL, but now their rates are higher than Sunspree...and the quality and class of Sunspree is not rivaled on the beach. You might like Blockade Runner if you don't have kids, but with kids...definitely stay here. The beach is flat for skim boarding and everything! Even a kids program.
