Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort Whistler Resort - Page 1

I loved the location. It was close to everywhere I wanted to be, and my room overlooked Starbuck's. If you knew me, you'd know how important that is. There was plenty of dining within a very short walk of Sunspree, and plenty of shopping. I'm sure this place does gangbusters when the snow falls. From check-in to check-out, the staff here did an amazing job. My room was clean, I enjoyed the jetted tub, and secure access to the guest rooms. I'm sure the fireplace in the room would be an awesome feature during the winter ski season, but it was nice knowing that it was there! Also, the two candlesticks on the dining table was a nice touch. I tested this staff by burning them, and--sure enough--when I returned the next day after a long day of "conventioning," they had replaced them. The housekeeping staff at this hotel does a very thorough job, and the front desk was quite helpful in assisting me with directions and dining recommendations.

I'm a sucker for an accent, so totally appreciated all the Australian accents I heard all week. The keynote speaker at the convention I was attending referred to it as "the Whistler accent." True enough, there are a lot of Aussies in Whistler, for sure!
