Excellent Beach Stay. Excellent Hotel and very Good Staff. Stayed in this Hotel on Sept 30. We had taken the Bed-4-Breakfast package in which Hot BreakfastBuffet is included. The kids eat free here, so 2 Adults and 2 Kids had very good breakfast - hot made 4 u omlate, sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, beagles, juice, fruits... The hotel has lights focused on the beach at night, which makes the beach look very good even at night. With the Oasis bar near the beach and beach chairs with umbrella for hire $10, the stay was worth it.

The stay at Holiday Inn Sun Spree Resort was much better than I expected, the view from our room was the best, you can see everything. It is a great place for children with lots fun things to do. Everything you need is on location you really don't have to leave for anything. I highly recommend this place.

This hotel made me feel respected: They all were very nice and helpful to our needs. They always had a greeting as we came and left.

I just got back from spending six days at the holiday inn sunspree and was very disappointed to say the least. i had booked the trip with the understanding that this hotel had just undergone millions of dollars in renovations. Guess what, if they renovated this hotel, they sure were hiding it very well. The casino that they advertise onsite is no longer there, even though they still advertise it. The best restaurants there, you have to make reservations for only the day before not two before or anything, exactly the day before between the hours of 3 and 4 o'clock. So, if you go on a tour don't plan on getting reservations if you miss these times. The Jamaican Tours at the hotel lobby desk was absolutely the worst person I have ever met. We had booked a tour online before we got there and we had the vouchers printed up that said we had to give them to the driver to get our tour tickets. He insisted that we only paid for ground transportation. Told us that we had to pay an additional $30 to go on this tour or he would not put our name in the book for this tour. After making phonecalls to orbitz who I booked this through and them calling Jamaica tours, we finally got to go on this tour without paying more money for it, but it probably cost us $50 in phonecalls back to the U.S. All in all this was the worst vacation I have had yet and will never return to the Holiday Inn Sunspree or Jamaica for that matter.

The hotel has a wonderful location right on the beach. It has a very nice pool area that offers something for the whole family. Customer service skills of some hotel employees, however, were lacking. Restaurant staff tried so hard to please to the point that it became suffocating; Bellhops displayed an attitude of total indifference, which was surprising for a resort in this price range. The bathtub/shower had been patched by someone who was definitely not skilled in bathtub repair as the patch appeared as a blob of gray in an otherwise white bathtub. The price range somewhat high for our experience.

My family stays at this Sun Spree hotel every year. We love the rooms, the location, the view, the beach, everything. It is also very reasonably priced.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: Everything is very peaceful. There is no real loud noise and you do not feel overcrowded.

It was very nice and very family friendly. I recommend this place highly.

I loved how it was on the beach! It was on a strip where there were a bunch of restaurants and shops. The restaurant served a variety of foods for breakfast. They have places where you can go parasailing and go out on boats, too. At night they would have shows and they have a sauna, which is great .

The location was nice.

The room was comfortable and had a good view. Service was average.

I was there for spring break and that is the only place worth staying at if you go to Panama City.

The restaurant's food wasn't very good, especially for the money. The hotel is very nice, clean, and the beachfront rooms with balconies are wonderful! And, there's plenty of parking.

It was great. Service was good and I enjoyed it. They had a DJ playing music and had events the entire week.

They were very good and I would definitely stay there again if I go to Panama City again.

We were expecting a cot for the extra people in our room, but they brought us an air mattress instead. It worked for us, but it may not be the best way to handle the issue for everyone.

It was great, but there were too many young guests. The hotel restaurant could be improved, but they had the best pina coladas ever! I appreciated the friendly, helpful staff. I loved this experience overall.

The staff that checked us in was sort of rude, acted like they were better than us because we were all college kids on spring break. We are the ones paying for the room, we should've been treated with more respect at check-in. After all, most kids aren't bad.

Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort had a tropical theme with lots of birds and fish. The birds were wonderful but they didn't seem very well taken care of, which disturbed the kids with us very much. The birds never had a chance to sleep or get away from the crowds. We probably won't stay there again because of that.

This hotel made me feel important: They took the time to have games and activities for our children, and the staff was very courteous.
