The Holiday Inn hotel in Gatlinburg gave great service. They recommended great places to visit and eat. They had very good room service.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The hotel made me feel comfortable by having all the things I needed when asked for. They even called to wake us up at the time we wanted to get up.

The location is pretty good. It is not on the main strip, but still in walking distance to the main strip. I really liked the hotel a lot. The only thing I didn't like was the hotel restaurant.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: I felt really relaxed in the room. There were plenty of good locks on the door. The furniture was very nice.

They had difficulty booking a large group of rooms, so I will consider another hotel next year.

The hotel was outstanding. We were not very happy with the room we were given but the front desk staff resolved it very quickly. We had our dog with us and they were very accommodating and the rooms were so clean that you would have never known that they accepted pets! The hotel is centrally located so you can walk to all the attractions. We will definitely be staying again!

The employees were knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel supplied a lot of brochures for discounts and entertainment. Plus the hotel is a couple of blocks away from downtown Gatlinburg!

My family has used this hotel for two years now and we like it very much. They have quick check in and check out. There is plenty of space at the pools.

It was an average hotel. The food was not good.

This hotel made me feel secure: There were five separate buildings in all. I stayed in the Tower Building. All exterior doors were kept locked twenty-four hours a day. There was card key access only in my building.

The hotel was older than expected and the pool area and the common areas were dirty looking. We were waken up twice by a group on the balcony laughing and talking loudly. After two phone calls to the desk, this was apparently corrected. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We were given a complimentary breakfast because of the above incident.

The hotel did not live up to the advertising. The complex and the decor were old and outdated. The mattress was very worn and soft.

The location was relatively good, although it was an uphill walk to the motel from the main drag. The price was right for the room provided.

My husband and I liked staying at this hotel because they except pets. They treated our dog very well. We always had a nice clean room when we got back from downtown. The staff was always very friendly and seemed to want to talk and make you welcome.

The hotel was somewhat dated. I didn't like the room location -- it faced the gaming area, which was very loud.

The hotel is a very nice place to stay. It had better then expected pricing.

I think this hotel is great. While it's not a luxury hotel by any means, (and do outside entry to rooms qualify as a hotel?) but it accommodates my needs. I have a large dog and they accept her every year. We like to stay in the "terrace" building because it is close to a large park and ball field maintained by Gatlinburg parks and recreation which is a great place to walk her. The rooms are reasonably priced and always clean. The only drawback is that it's not really "walking friendly" at the end of a long day buying junk downtown because of the summit you must hike to get back!

However, the trolleys are cheap and run very regularly, which we use when we are sans-dog. All in all, it's not bad. One year, we encountered a bear, so beware as they are very close to the woods and the bears like to root through the dumpsters! I love the SunSpree because they do not discriminate against large dogs, as most hotels do. Most hotels only allow little dogs or have a weight restriction. Sometime in the past, some large dog was bad and now mine has to pay the price for their mistake. The SunSpree only charges a $15 fee for the entire stay, if you have a pet. I paid $25 per night in St. Simons! Give it a shot, afte rall, it is a Holiday Inn.

I loved the location. It was in walking distance to the strip, and had great amenities for kids. The only thing I didn't like was that it was a little noisy and several of the lights in our room were out.

The view was awesome and the room was nice.

Our stay was mostly pleasant. We reserved the Kids Suite for four nights. However, when we arrived, we found that the room had only been held for us for three nights. The room was way over described -- they said it was big and roomy, but it was actually very tight and cramped. We had one DVD player when we were promised two. We had to switch rooms for the 4th night but the hotel manager did let us stay the 4th night free. So overall it was a good experience, I'm just not sure we would stay there again.
