Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort Panama City Beach

We have stayed here for 3 years in a row using my Priority Cub Reward points. The first year was great so we went back for a second which was OK but this last year was horrible. The place is going into disrepair. The brand new water park was loved by the kids but 4 of the features were broken. The pool was constantly being closed for cleaning due to "accidents", which I guess is good but verry annoying. The elevators were constantly broken and 10 story walk up sucks with a 6 and 2 year olds, not to mention we got stcuk in it one morning. The rooms and funishings are showing thier age and need replaced. It seens like the golfcart going to the parking lot is either not manned or no where to be found when you have to get to your car.

We will not go back, I would have been very mad if I was paying cash for the last stay.

Right on the beach, nice clean room, big pool area with snack bar, fitness area w/ sauna was great!

I love staying there. It was my second time there. This time I took my two girls. I do know they are in the process of putting new furniture in all the rooms. No doubt they need it, because they had to replace the dresser in our room while we were there. The drawers could not be used. But they are very quick to handle any problems. They are very friendly there. The Hotel is absolutely beautiful.. You feel like your in the tropics, rather then on a beach in Florida. The staff is friendly, the rooms look wonderful, the view from every room has it's own balcony facing the ocean. Overall, I can't think of a better place to spend my vacation when I go back to Panama City Beach. Overall...It's the best place to stay on the Beach.

The views from the rooms were very nice. The hotel staff made a point to be friendly. Parking was inconvenient. It was an enjoyable experience overall.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The views of the pool below the room, hearing the music from the pool area below and seeing the ocean from the balcony, all together made for a very relaxing and peaceful environment.

This hotel is in a great, convenient location. The hotel was renovating the pool area, but the construction was hardly even noticeable. We loved the beach access and the pool.

This hotel made me feel secure: We wore arm tags at the pool and at the beach and there are employees who watched for people who were not guests. There were also security cameras.
