i have been to 4 and 5 star hotels and i have to tell you the service i received at this hotel is second to none the front desk staff had answers for everything i was asking about. the hole staff from housekeeping to maintance and even the chef said hello and was eager to help or just chat. it's nice to just walk in and feel like family again something most hotel chain had forgotten, thank you holiday inn in st augustine for still remembering that the customer is number 1.

We went to an Elderhostel activity there. The staff was reluctant to allow us to stay additional days with advance notification at the Elderhostel rate advertised. The rooms were fairly clean, but shabby. The mattresses desperately needed replacing in our room. The cleaning and support staff was quite helpful and supportive. The food was presented nicely as buffets. It was tasty and plentiful. The pool, the laundry and the workout room were clean. The beach was gorgeous and easily accessible.

The location was good. The rooms were large and comfortable. It included a microwave and a refrigerator. The beds were great.

It’s easy to find and has nice rooms. It was too far to walk to the historic district and had no shuttle.

This hotel made me feel secure: The entrances were all secured at night and required a room key to enter.

They have a friendly, knowledgeable, staff. It was an excellent experience.

It's a nice place to stay.

It's in a great location. The staff was very friendly. They have a great Tiki Bar poolside. There is a nice boardwalk to the beach. Umbrellas and chairs are available to rent. The breakfast bar was outstanding! I recommend this Holiday Inn and I will definitely stay here again.

We had a pleasant stay, I have no complaints.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two nights on a weekend (Fri/Sat) and were charged the incredible amount of $106 before tax for a 2 double-bed nonsmoking room. Unfortunately, everyone else on the floor smoked, and our room was in fumes. Needless to say, there were no windows that could be opened in the room. Second complaint was that there were crumbs on one of the beds and the sheets/pillowcases weren't changed. For over $220 for 2 nights, the service was disappointing. On top of all, we asked the front desk attendant whether the breakfast was included in the price of the room, he confirmed. The next moring we had a breakfast and were charged $16 for 2 cups of coffee and eggs (everything else was gone). Very very disappointing! Don't go there...

The assistant manager and other check in staff were extremely friendly and helpful, recognizing us as repeat guests and making sure to accomodate a few special requests we had. Though the price here is a bit higher than some of the places we normally stay in St. Augustine, it is worth it for the added comfort and attentiveness of the staff.

House keeping staff were changing drapes in some suites and left the discarded drapes on the hall floor the entire time we were there.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The staff was friendly and cheerful.

I thought the jacuzzi tub in the room would be a nicer setup than it was. It was just installed in the bathroom and could have been better looking than the setup was. I paid extra and expected a nicer atmosphere in the room than had. It was nice just.
