It had a great transparent elevator. I came for the Macalester College graduation ceremony, so it was relatively full. The staff was courteous. The restaurant next door was convenient.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. They always greeted me with a smile and a “Hello”. I had a great view of downtown. The location was perfect. The Liffey is one of the coolest bars I have ever been to. I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed here one night and that was enough. It had a funky smell and stained carpets. The staff was friendly enough, but there was always maintenance staff holding up the elevator. They had poor high-speed internet connections. Two out of the four treadmills in the fitness center were broken, as well as the whirlpool.
The rate was responsible but I'd recommend the St. Paul hotel if you can get a comparable rate.
