I-540, a local interstate puts you within 5-10 minutes of nearly anything in Fayetteville (and University of Arkansas athletic events), Springdale, and the newer shopping facilities in Rogers, so the location is helpful.
The hotel has a very attractive lobby & check-in area, and atrium. Check in/out was also very easy & staff was friendly--I was particularly impressed with Heather at the front desk! Additionally, my wife & I purchased a bottle of wine at a nearby store but neglected to bring a wine opener; a bartender in the hotel sports bar was kind enough to open it for us.
The rooms were quite spacious, contained a couch, and beds were comfortable. My wife found some of the decor a bit dated, but everything was clean and "cozy". TV was a bit small.
Hotel features a sauna, indoor pool, fitness room, restaurant, and the aforementioned bar.
My main problem with the hotel was the noise level of the lobby. With the design of the hotel, all the rooms face & overlook the hotel lobby/lounge area. The Saturday/Sunday I was there, there were groups of young male teens running around, yelling, and even bouncing a basketball in that area. All of that noise echoes directly up toward the rooms, and is definitely something you hear within the room. The noise finally stopped about 11 p.m., luckily we hadn't went to bed for the evening before then.
The hotel needs to keep a little more of an eye on young guests, if they're as poorly behaved as these kids were. Obviously their parents or sponsors didn't care what they were doing, but other guests shouldn't have to deal with that.
Overall, despite that noise, I was pretty pleased with hotel and its location. I managed to get a GREAT deal with Priceline, paying less than 1/2 of the normal Expedia/Travelocity/Orbitz price. I would stay there again, particularly if I'm able to get a good deal on the room.
