35 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I went to holiday inn- downtown Shreveport from a coupon I found and I thought this is a good deal. a little skeptical at first but I decided to try it out. The hotel was clean and nice and the front desk was polite. I loved the refrigerator and microwave in the room, b/c I have a new baby and it was a lifesaver. Very nice stay, right in front of all casinos.

Hotel is located next to railroad tracks and trains were very noisy. Bathroom is very small. Water would not drain out of the tub. There was mold and mildew. I refused to shower in it.

The tub was horrible; wouldn't drain fast and by the time you were done with shower, you were ankle deep in water. WORST OF ALL is that there are railroad tracks next to/below the hotel and you can't sleep at night. The hotel actually provides you...

Very nice, but extremely noisy. Not from doors slamming or elavators, but from adjacent train tracks, interstate, downtown concerts, etc. They offer ear plugs, a clue, a clue. Breakfast is not included in price.

Horrible
This was the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in. There was hair everywhere, on the sheets embedded in the towels, on the floor, in the bathroom. Our first room had a huge stain on the bedspread and the coffee machine was missing the carafe,...
The rooms were humid and smelled of mold and stale cigarette smoke (and we were in a non-smoking room).
The air conditioner barely worked. Do not expect to get any sleep, as there is a lot of traffic and a train that travels all night long. My friends in the room across from us even had ants crawling on them during the night and only got a $10 discount when they had to move to another room at 1:30 in the morning!

Close to convention center. Rain leaked through air conditioner-leaking into my bag. I had to request 3 times for the water to be vaccumed up. Shower wouldn't drain. Room service had NO PIZZA! Hallways smelled. Most employees very nice.
