I never received a morning newspaper. The food was way overpriced. There wasn't even a refrigerator or microwave in the room. I stayed at another chain for half the price in Atlanta, Ga. They had all these extras as well as a free breakfast.

I am not likely to return to the Holiday Inn Select Vanderbilt.
I would not recommend it to friends.

This hotel made me feel content: Everything was as promised. Value for price (special rate) was excellent. I knew where my money was going and the staff was very courteous. In all, the 'select' moniker lived up to its name.
