It is an excellent hotel with an enjoyable feel of 'hominess'. I would recommend it to everyone, if they are traveling somewhere with one nearby.

This hotel made me feel welcome: It was kind of like staying at my own home, except with more people, which I don't mind. I didn't really feel out of place, despite the fact it was my first time being there.

As part of my reception package my new husband and I were supposed to have a suite for the night. At the end of our reception, the desk staff knew nothing of our room, the suites were all booked and we ended up with a regular room (not a suite).

The staff at the Holiday Inn Select in Winter Park were all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was lovely and the food was very good and priced reasonably. The service provided by the restaurant staff was excellent.

This hotel made me feel secure: The location was in a nice quiet area away from interstate traffic but close to the school I was visiting. The long winding drive up to the Inn was not very visible from the street and the signs leading to the hotel were somewhat discrete.
