Holiday Inn Select Tulsa Hotel - Page 1

Not a Holiday Inn anymore. If you try to make a reservation there you get mixed rates. Also the staff has flipped almost overnight. I will not go there again. I think they call it Tulsa Select now, but I'm not sure.

The staff was excellent. When we first arrived the desk clerk could not locate a room for us. She had to wait for the manager to come and help. But they made up for the wait by giving us a complimentary breakfast. The carpet in our room was wet and the ceiling was dripping water into the bathtub. When I reported it the next morning, it was repaired quickly. But, it is hard to nap in a room where there are plumbers working on a stopped up air conditioning drain. If we had been there on business, it would not have been a problem because we would not have been in the room. But, we were there to relax, swim in the pool and nap.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The Holiday Inn Select hotel provided us with a welcoming package of snacks, baseball cards and bottled water.

It was a good hotel to stay in. I had a very clean and nice room. The only negative was that the desk staff in the lobby was very aloof and that the restaurant did not have anybody available to bus tables.

It was fine. I use a hotel for sleeping, and that's about it. So I don't care about extra bells and whistles in the room, which is fine, because this hotel didn't have any.

We stayed in this hotel on June 30, 2007. We were given room 233.

Upon walking up to the outside door to the room, I noticed the door was very dirty. Once inside our room there was a 6 ft. stain on the carpet, candy wrappers on the floor and the floor had not been vacuumed. There was garbage in the nightstand, mildew on the shower curtain and the bathtub would not drain. Still water in the tub the next morning.

Housecleaning came in and agreed the room had not been vacuumed or cleaned properly. The maintenance man said that there had been a drainage problem resulting in the stained floor. I was not offered another room and would never stay in such uncleanly conditions again. I paid $114.00 to stay in an unsanitary room.
