The location is convenient to just about everything. The hotel is well maintained and the staff is exceptionally courteous and professional. The restaurant and the lounge have excellent service, friendly staff and delicious food. It is definitely worth the price.

The location was good for us to get into NYC. We have stayed at this hotel every year now for five years so we could attend a meeting in NYC. It was fairly easy on and off the interstate. It was nice that US one parallels the interstate since there was a high traffic jam and we were able to easily get off a few exits early. We can walk to good restaurants and Bennigans being our favorite. The Smokey Joes was just a mile west on US one.

This hotel made me feel pampered: The snacks and beverages in my room were good.

I am very likely to return to the Holiday Inn Select Stamford.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Everything was fine except dinner. There were five us -- dinner came for some, not for others. What dinners came were staggered in their arrival. The Saturday night cook wouldn't accept help from other employees to keep up. We left without three of us ever even seeing a crumb (the cook supposedly was new).

I am very likely to return to the Holiday Inn Select Stamford.

The hotel's price was good as well as its location to events. It had a restaurant and bar as well, I but didn't use them.

I am not likely to return to the Holiday Inn Select Stamford.

The hotel needs better kitchen help on weekends - that's when we travel there. I know it's not the 'peak' period - weekdays are. But the kitchen/cooking help on weekends is too slow! The help needs to fired when they can't keep up.
