Holiday Inn Select and Convention Center Tinley Park Hotel - Page 1

I visited this hotel this weekend. The staff was welcoming; almost all greeted you upon approach and were friendly and helpful.

What I disliked is the cleanliness of the rooms. They clearly had not changed the bed linen, and even though they brought myself/guests a "clean" set of bed linens upon request, I did not like having to request clean linen. This may be an industry standard, but if you are in a decision/managing position in the hotel industry, you need to quit it! I suspect that clean linens will end up being an "extra".

Perhaps they will start putting linens in the vending machines, because even though I am sure they factor clean linen in the price, this hotel surely did not serve this up.

Obviously, if there are no visible and obvious stains, the housekeeping staff feels no impetus to change the sheets. How disgusting!

There was a fake promise of free internet, but the TV internet was at a fee and I couldn't get my laptop to connect anyway. The phone reservations reps gave me different prices on phone calls within ten minutes of each other, all specifications being the same.

They did a great job for the convention we attended. Things were ready and the food supplied was good

This hotel made me feel comfortable: They kept the room ready and made up. They were around to answer questions.

For the cost, the facilities were overpriced. The staff terse, at best, the rooms were about the same as less pricey hotels, and the bathroom could have been in much better shape. Being virtually in the cloverleaf of the expressway, it was easy to find, except for the drive which was off a side street, and then a long drive back.

It has fine service. They gave prompt attention to set up for rooms for our presentations.
