Located at Fisherman's Wharf Hotel, the hotel is convenient to many attractions. Situated within walking distance of many of the exciting San Francisco attractions: Pier 39, Alcatraz and Bay Cruise ferry piers along the Embarcadero, and Ghirardelli Square. The rooms are clean and comfortable but do vary in size and view. They are all well equipped. There is a 24 hour family restaurant and bar/grill which serves a decent choice of food and there are more restaurants on the waterfront nearby. There's a small but decent fitness center and an outdoor heated swimming pool with a sundeck. The staff here are friendly and helpful, although at peak times, check in can be a little slow. Make sure you have the address of your hotel with you when you arrive in San Franciso, as there are quite a few Holiday Inns, in this area.

61 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
While the room was very pleasant and clean, when checking in I was reminded a couple of times that since I booked through a third party booking agency, Travelocity, I was not able to be afforded some things those who booked directly with Holiday Inn were. Also, the Denny's restaurant, which was in the Beach Street building, had very slow service, seemed quite confused for take-out orders, much higher-priced than other Denny's and added an additional $20.00 on to my bill when the credit card copy came back to be signed, as a "mistake", when I questioned the bill. The location is good and convenient to all activities at Fisherman's Wharf.
