The Holiday Inn San Clemente Resort overlooks the blue Pacific Ocean in the heart of the lovely beach community of San Clemente. Halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego, it's a serene world away from the faster urban pace of its larger neighbors. San Clemente, next door to the famous Laguna Beach, is a town made for walking. A short stroll will take you past flower-laden street lamps to quaint cafes, unique shops and a beautiful white sand beach. The hotel itself sits up on a small hill. Legoland, Disneyland and Knott s Berry Farm are a 40 minute drive, San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Universal Studios, Hollywood, Temecula Wine Country/Vinyards and Tijuana/Mexico are all about an hour drive. Each of the resort's 72 rooms features a refrigerator, coffee maker, and hair dryer for our guests' convenience. Many of them also offer ocean views and balconies. Or enjoy one of our deluxe rooms with in-room private spas. Our great restaurant Maxim offers relaxed but stylish dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Room service is available, as well. And if you feel energetic, we have a swimming pool, spa and fitness room for your daily workouts. Several world class golf courses are nearby, and tennis courts, bicycle riding, deep sea fishing, sailing, harbor cruises, whale watching and even horseback riding are only a short drive from our front door. Enjoy the serenity, the comfort and the professional and caring staff you'll meet here. And then come back and visit us often!

Nothing. The room we had was against the freeway. When I asked if we could upgrade to a room with a balcony and a view we were told that it was overcast and we wouldn't be able to see anything anyway.
I went to visit my son who was on leave from Iraq and chose the Holiday Inn. The staff was very friendly and even addressed me by name during my stay. The rooms are large with what the manager said is new bedding and new carpet. The hotel is located ...

Coffee in the room and a refrigerator.Right on the freeway. Needs updating. Not a 3 star hotel. Over valued for what it was. If it would have been a 1 star I would have been very pleased.

Clean room.Interstate 5 was right outside my window. Impossible to sleep! While I'm sure some of the rooms are quiet, the proximity to a major freeway makes this hotel unacceptable. Should not be rated 3 stars for this reason...

I expect more from a Holiday Inn. The rooms were old with very dirty carpets. I expect a better room in a business traveler type hotel that is off the beach.

It was available. The bedbugs. I itched for days. I can't believe I paid that much for that hotel. It smelled of mildew, I got bit by bed bugs (had to sleep in my clothes on towels) and the front desk was rude.
