Holiday Inn San Antonio Riverwalk Hotel - Page 1

The people working at the Holiday Inn including one of the managers were very incompetent and unfriendly. I will make sure not to stay there again.

We stayed here 1/5/08. Top half of hotel under construction/renovation. No one disclosed this when we made reservations. Riverwalk was drained, not disclosed to us when we booked the room. No larger rooms/upgrades available because of that. They gave us keys to an occupied room. Thank God no one was in the room when we opened the door. Changed rooms.This involved schlepping all luggage & 3 kids up & down elevators & to/from main lobby. OK room. Not spotless bathroom. SLOW to find employee to seat you at restaurant (more than 10minutes). GREAT margarita in bar. Not too close to the 'action' on the riverwalk, good if you like to walk though. No one on staff made us feel welcome or cared for.

I absolutely love this hotel! I have had 2 children graduate from basic training and we have stayed at this hotel twice, and both times it was great!!! The service was great, so was the food. My kids loved the pool and I absolutely loved the mattress. I slept great. Right on the river walk but not in the center of the noise, great time. I will definitely be back.

I liked very much the location on the River Walk.

This hotel made me feel content: I liked the club.
