42 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
We stayed here 1/5/08. Top half of hotel under construction/renovation. No one disclosed this when we made reservations. Riverwalk was drained, not disclosed to us when we booked the room. No larger rooms/upgrades available because of that. They gave us keys to an occupied room. Thank God no one was in the room when we opened the door. Changed rooms.This involved schlepping all luggage & 3 kids up & down elevators & to/from main lobby. OK room. Not spotless bathroom. SLOW to find employee to seat you at restaurant (more than 10minutes). GREAT margarita in bar. Not too close to the 'action' on the riverwalk, good if you like to walk though. No one on staff made us feel welcome or cared for.
