I really liked the chocolate chip cookies. The staff was super-friendly. It would be great to have better quality coffee, though.

The hotel was clean and it had up to date decorating. The staff was unbelievably accommodating. The restaurant was all Mexican, a great change from the ordinary hotel restaurant food.

This hotel made me feel content: Anytime, day or night, if I called with a question, it was answered promptly and professionally. The decor and the cleanliness of the hotel were stunning.

The support staff was very terrific. I would recommend that location to others and I would definitely consider staying there in the future.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: Primarily, I felt relaxed due to the location, it was very peaceful.

This hotel made me feel welcome: Since I have difficulty walking one of the staff made sure my room was close to the elevator and also had a chair near the elevator in case I needed to sit before going further.

We booked this hotel for all of our guests at our daughter's recent wedding. First of all, their "special wedding rate" was much higher than the AAA rate and all we got for booking 15 rooms from them was $100 off my daughter's suite.

We had arranged to get into the suite at noon check-in for the bridal party. We confirmed it twice the week before and when we arrived, the staff at the desk hemmed and hawed about how it might not be possible. After my insistence that this was the agreement, they finally found a clean suite for us.

The rooms were nice, very clean, etc. However, the adjacent Margherita's restaurant which Holiday Inn claims they are affiliated with, and provides room service to the hotel was the ruin of our wedding experience.

The wedding guests arrived to find that certain bartenders were randomly picking people they evidently didn't like (mostly attractive women and female bartenders) to shut off. It was completely ridiculous as many patrons were had imbibed more than those chosen for shut off. We overheard that this was the case with several other weddings that took place the same day and chose to stay at this hotel.

The hotel was completely unresponsive to resolve the situation. Guess what? They don't care. They are one of the only hotels in the area of many wedding vendors who don't have overnight accommodations.

So if you are planning a wedding in the Windham area, be sure to interview carefully before choosing a hotel for your guests to stay at. We were very unhappy with how our guests were accommodated at this hotel and adjacent restaurant. And we weren't the only ones.
