56 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The front desk was great. Parking was a bit of a hassle, waiting for validation. Its in a great location across form Old Sacramento and next to the mall. The elevator was broken down for a good while one day. There is not enough help at the bar.
I received nice treatment by the hotel staff from the front desk to the kitchen staffer who led us to the freight elevator.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Holiday Inn Sacramento-Capitol Plaza.
I might recommend it to friends.

49 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
The bathroom could have been cleaner. The bed was clean and comfortable. The room service was excellent. The external noise from nearby freeway intruded more than expected as it was an old hotel with single pane windows. The staff was friendly.
The hotel staff imparted a sense of security. There were good locks on the doors.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Holiday Inn Sacramento-Capitol Plaza.
I might recommend it to friends.
27 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I have stayed at this hotel a few times before this trip due to its downtown location. This time, I was given a room that was not cleaned, a mistake which the front desk staff quickly corrected by giving me another room. That room appeared to not have a remote control. Otherwise, everything was fine.
I am very likely
to return to the Holiday Inn Sacramento-Capitol Plaza.
I might recommend it to friends.
