What a disaster from start to finish. The room service took 2 hrs. I found a bug in my bed and I had to have them bring me a new tv. The only good thing was that the staff was helpful in getting these and other problems fixed.

Okay, it's Peoria: you don't have a lot of choices and this is clearly a dated Holiday Inn that could do with a refurb. That said, it's clean, the staff are friendly & helpful and, if you can secure a corporate rate, it's decent value for money.
Be sure to ask for a key to the "Executive Lounge"...at least you can have a bagel in the morning and a beer after work.
The hotel "restaurant" is the Bennigan's next door: standard fare and they'll deliver if you can't be bothered leaving the room.
