Near to all the main attractions, this is an ideal place from which to see the sights. The rooms are spacious and very well equipped with mini kitchinettes. There's a nice outdoor pool with a waterfall, which is great for children, and there's a tiki hut next to the pool where you can get drinks and snacks. There's also a volleyball court, playground and games room. For breakfast, there's a wide choice of food available in the buffet, and there's also a cafe and Convenience Courts for coffees, pizza and snacks for lunch, or grilled steaks and seafood for dinner. Although there are hundreds of restaurants on the doorstep if you prefer more choice. All the shops are very close by too, so it's a very convenient place to stay. There are also beauty treatments available. The staff here are really friendly and will help you out with anything you need. There's also a free shuttle bus to the main parks.

I really enjoyed the quite setting and the nice warm staff. What was surprising was the little goody bags they gave us at arrival. The bags had shampoo, lotion and aftershave in them. They also had lots of coupons and information about the area at the hotel.
They had security guards on the premises and you could not enter if you did not have a pass.

The hotel is quite old but clean. We had a problem with a package deal. We were supposed to get attraction tickets with the room but there was a communications breakdown and we never got our tickets. The hotel did refund our money, however, but it took an hour and we had to involve the hotel manager.

Horrible
"This is the first and last time I will stay at HI. The room reeked of smoke, the drains were stopped up, and room service trays remained outside doors for the entire weekend. The kicker was some angry man was banging on my door at 2am, yelling...

I am thankful that I used a bidding site to pay for this hotel, because if I had paid full price I would have been extremely upset.
I expected a lot more from a Holiday Inn, I was shocked to be completely honest. The location and friendly staff was the best part of the trip. We walked to Wet N' Wild. When we got there they couldn't find my reservation. I was smart enough to bring my voucher from the bidding website. When I showed them the voucher, all of a sudden they found my name. How convenient.
The room was very outdated. The lamps were falling apart and the floors were not clean. The bathroom was clean and the caulk around the tub was new, which was nice. The fan in the bathroom did not work. They gave us two double beds even though I requested queen beds and the springs were showing through. Needless to say the whole family didn't get much sleep.
Housekeeping was knocking on the door at 8:00 am which I thought was a little too early. The only thing they gave you in the room was soap and a bottle of shampoo. The soap didn't even lather up and the shampoo smelled like baby aspirin. It was fine for a night, but disappointing for a Holiday Inn.

We requested adjoining rooms. We checked in early, but when we returned we were given non adjoining rooms. One room had bunk beds for children and we were a party of two couples. The staff was non-apologetic and they offered no compensation. Also, parking was inadequate.
