Holiday Inn Omaha Central I-80 Hotel - Page 2

The hotel was nice, but the rooms were a little worn out. They looked dated and they could be refreshed. We had no problems and we enjoyed our stay.

This hotel made me feel secure: All the doors except the main entrance had to be open with a room key.

We asked for a room with two double beds and we got a room with one bed. They would not change it.

It is a long distance from some of the rooms to the pool and the restaurant. Also the corridors and the halls are a maze to get through to get anywhere.

The hotel was under renovation, which I was not told at time of reservation. The entire room and bathroom were filthy from ceiling to floor and there was fresh paint and speckle on furniture, windows and drapes! When I complained I was assured by the manager on duty that at the very least, I would receive a discount or money credited back to my credit card. He instructed me to call back the following day and discuss it with the manager. I called and was treated rudely and dismissed out of hand. I will never stay at another Holiday Inn hotel and I have advised everyone I know never to stay at this place in Omaha!

Everything was as we expected. The rate we found on the Internet was lower than any rate we had seen or received. It was a nice, quiet room.

My stay was very nice. We just slept there, we didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel.

The room was musty and had a smoky smell. The halls were dimly lit.

The pillows were awesome. It was great to have pillows that actually supported my head. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the prices at the restaurant. They were a little too high in my opinion.

I liked the restaurant and bar. My room was very clean and nice.

I loved it all: great location, nice environment.

The only problem I really had was the noise that was caused by other guests in the hallways and the motel doors slamming all the time.

Holiday Inn Central was terrible. It was dirty and outdated. The non-smoking rooms were smoky, and the linens were terrible. The staff was rude. I will never stay there again.

This hotel made me feel pampered: They helped with our handicapped grandchildren.

The people are wonderful. Friendly and helpful. We don't use the pool or weights or anything special like that ever. We do however appreciate having a refrigerator in our room. Coffee is very important.

This hotel made me feel welcome: When asking at desk for information, they were most helpful. When asking for a special item, one of the employees happened to have one on him and allowed us to borrow the item overnight. Employees were all courteous and friendly.

The area around the hotel was under construction and the path to get to the hotel was not clearly marked and made just reaching the hotel very difficult and frustrating.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The help smiled as I approached the counter and were generally friendly and helpful. So many times these people have no sense of humor and look miserable.

It was a dirty room, the lock was not working, it was not a good experience.

They had an excellent pool, but a confusing hotel layout made it difficult to get to.

There were many problems. The room key was not working, the bathroom was not clean, the mechanicals were not in good repair, the light bulbs were burned out, and the shower head was plugged.
