Holiday Inn Murfreesboro Hotel - Page 1

This place is not worth the money! Hotel is old and in very poor condition. The carpets are permanently dirty and gapping/rolling badly. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls in the halls and in the rooms, and also stained. The windows leak water in any precipitation, as do the heating/cooling units. Over-all the whole place smells pretty bad. The restaurant, when open, served us entrees that were supposed to be hot, but were cold 3 out of 3 times. We had to send everything back, every time. Housekeeping was very poor. We had to request basic services every day there. Also the pool was closed, and the web-site failed to mention it. There are only 2 old pool tables, and the two dart boards are so used up you can't play on them. The darts wont stick, and one board was missing its' bullseye. The only positive I have to say is the staff was genuinely friendly, the bar serves good drinks, and the welcome cookie was good.

I love the location of the hotel and I have always enjoyed the pool area. The hot tub was not full, so the jets were splashing us. That would have been better full. I really would love twenty four hour room service. That would be a huge plus!

It’s a good location. I suggest you book your room before you leave home.

The manager was gracious and very helpful to us and our family in all ways. Though the Holiday Inn hotel was in the middle of renovation, it was very comfortable.

The hotel was very nice. They served a great breakfast. I liked the super nice staff!
