22 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

I visit Montreal quite a bit, and I would definitely say this is an average hotel. The service was pretty good however. Although the rooms, furniture, and showers weren't the best, you can't complain for the price. If your planning to stay in your hotel a lot during your visit, this might not be the most exciting place to stay. But if you just want a quick pit stop for the night, this Holiday Inn is a pretty good choice. Nothing fancy, but decent service and friendly staff, especially when compared to other hotels. I'd recommend this for anyone looking for a budget stay.

I am very likely to return to the Holiday Inn Montreal Midtown.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The hotel is nothing spectacular. There is no great view from the windows there is nothing in about the room that makes it so shockingly amazing. Nor was the service of the staff superb. Everything was just about average, but its also because of that fact that they got such a high score. They aren't flashy and they don't try to be. They just set out to do their job and they'll get it done. There's no need to overly impress your guests with a shell or put on fake smiles. Just being yourself is what this hotel is all about and I like it. Ranked 1st on my list as of now for hotels in Montreal.

22 year old male with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

Back in April, my sister and I traveled to Montreal for our friends wedding. Our budget was about $140 per night and after a few searches, we decided to stay at the Holiday Inn Midtown. The hotel is located in the middle of downtown Montreal. Everything was within the doorstep of the hotel. There were a lot of stuff to see, eat and do! The rooms were good sized for my sister and I. The decor of the room was a little below par for my standards. The bathroom was somewhat clean. I did ask room and maid service to take care of it though. After that, there were no problems. Other than that, the staff were nice and we had a nice view of he city from our room. We left the hotel satisfied but I think better value could be had elsewhere.

53 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for business

I travel between Montreal and Toronto a lot on business trips. Almost every time I go to Montreal I always stay at this hotel. The number one reason is the price. It is rare to find a hotel that will charge you less than $150 a night in Montreal. As a businessman, that is the number one concern with me. The second most important item is the comfort level of the hotel. I feel extremely happy when I am at this hotel, I've been there enough time for a few of the employees to recognize me. Therefore it is always good to have someone to talk to when you're there alone.

The location is the resultant of the price so there is no complaints there. As the saying goes, you get what you paid for.

I always go here and I am never disappointed so I don't see another reason to switch hotels.

This hotel offered pretty good value for the price. Rooms were nothing spectacular, but that was expected with the price I paid. It had everything I was looking for, a warm shower, nice bed to sleep in and a television set with cable. I wasn’t looking to spend an arm and a leg on my hotel. I rather save that type of money on other things, like food and shopping. Which there was plenty to do near this hotel. Overall I would recommend this to people who are not too picky about where they stay as long as they have a roof over their heads and don’t get any attitude from hotel employees.
